Do you have replacement ends for the FTN-100R fiberglass fish tape?

We have a very limited supply of replacement tips for the FTN-100R. There are 3 replacement tips included with each of the tapes when they are purchased. These are stapled to the inside of the cardboard packaging that the tape is enclosed in when purchased.

I have a Fiberline Fiberglass fish tape, but it is not the same as the one in the catalog. Do you have a replacement kit for the older ones?

The current Fiberline tape is the FTF-200 which is 3/16” in diameter. We also had another size tape that was 1/8’ in diameter. We do have the kit for the FTF-200 (FTRK-20) but no longer have replacement tip kits for the 1/8” fiberglass Fiberline tapes. The FTRK-200 will not work with the smaller diameter kits.

Fish Tape, Pull String, and Fish Sticks all serve the same purpose, what are the differences in application?

Each one of these has its own use. Would you use fish sticks in conduit that has multiple bends? No, you would only use fish sticks in places like dropped ceiling and strait conduit that doesn’t exceed 3 yards. Fish sticks are made out of fiber glass, they have a little bit of play designed into them otherwise they will break.

Fish tape is the exact opposite of fish sticks, but at the same time you can use it for almost all of the same applications you can use fish sticks for as long as you have the patience. Normal applications for fish tape would be conduit with many bends or places where you have sharp bends.

Pull string is attached to a line after you have already pulled cable through the conduit so that you can pull more cable through the conduit without having to re-fish.
