Can the PushGard wire connectors be used with stranded wire?

No. Because the way the connector holds the inserted wires in place with a spring loaded clip, stranded wire could potentially compress and slide out causing issues with connectivity and potential shock hazards. Only solid wire should be used in these connectors.
