If the tape is still in a liquid state, wipe off of the surface as soon as possible. There is nothing specifically listed to remove from fabric, carpet, or upholstery. Use caution when using around these materials. A drop cloth under the work area is recommended.
If the tape has dried, then the solid tape would have to be cut and peeled back.
