No. Conduit is measured from inner wall to inner wall. This includes EMT, IMC, and Rigid. Tubing and pipe, which includes plumbing, automotive, gas line, hardware and hose, and black iron pipe, are measured from outer wall to outer wall. The difference in diameter can cause damage to the shoe being used and will damaged the product they are attempting to bend. These CAN NOT be bent using ANY of our benders. This also includes anything that is Stainless Steel.
The same applies to 1 3/8” fence tubing (most common) or fence tubing of any size cannot be bent with any GB bender. Wall thickness, galvanization, outside diameter of tube, and material composition mike it extremely difficult, if not impossible to bend. Damage to the bender or the user could occur.
All of our benders are designed for electrical conduit. Our B300 series One-Shot benders can do rigid with a thicker wall thickness. We have various benders that will work with EMT, IMC, rigid, and PVC coated rigid. Any bender other than the One-Shot will have a maximum wall thickness of schedule 40 for rigid conduit.
